Cepec hat in der Vergangenheit häufig im Auftrag von Firmen Saläranalysen für die Juristen in Firmen-Rechtsdiensten durchgeführt. Die Nachfrage nach Juristen hat nun offensichtlich zugenommen – das hat naturgemäss Auswirkungen auf deren Lohnansprüchen und Saläre. Wir haben uns deshalb entschieden, einen spezifischen Gehaltsvergleich für diese Funktionen durchzuführen, um den interessierten Unternehmungen einen aktuellen Überblick zu verschaffen.
Wir haben 13 verschiedene Funktionen – 11 für Juristen und 2 für spezialisierte Sachbearbeiter - umschrieben, die in einem Rechtsdienst vorkommen, in deutsch, französisch und englisch. Die Beschreibungen tragen der Grösse einer Firma und der unterschiedlichen Strukturen der Rechtsdienste Rechnung.
Herunterladen :Unsere Vorabklärungen bei einzelnen Firmen haben ergeben, dass ein grosses Interesse daran besteht, bei dieser Analyse verschiedene unterschiedliche Auswertungen vorzunehmen:
- Eine Auswertung der aktuellen Bezüge je nach Basis-Salär und Total Compensation, also inklusive Bonus-Zahlungen
- Eine spezielle Analyse des Verhaltnisses von fester und variabler Entlöhnung
- Eine spezifische Auswertung der Einstelllöhne der Rechtsdienst-Mitarbeitenden, welche in den Jahren 2006 – 2008 in die Firma eingetreten sind.
Zusätzlich werden wir die verschiedenen Branchen separat erfassen (vorausgesetzt, dass wir für die einzelnen Branchen oder verwandte Sektoren genügend Meldungen für relevante Aussagen erhalten), so dass sich die teilnehmenden Firmen wirklich mit ihren „Konkurrenten“ auf dem Arbeitsmarkt vergleichen können.
Die Kosten für die teilnehmenden Firmen sind unterschiedlich gestaltet nach Anzahl der auszuwertenden Funktionen; keine Rolle spielt die Anzahl Stellen pro Funktion. Dabei ist zu berücksichtigen, dass eine Firma höchstens sieben unterschiedliche juristische Funktionen haben kann; die zwei möglichen Sachbearbeitungsfunktionen werden für die Preisgestaltung nicht berücksichtigt.

Cepec carried out on behalf of customers often specific salary comparisons for lawyers of there in-house legal department. Obviously the demand for such lawyers has increased in the last period of time – and the salary-expectations of applicants and lawyers already employed have increased as well. We decided therefore to realise a specific benchmarking for these functions to provide the interested companies with an up-to-date overview.
We have described 13 different functions, 11 for lawyers and 2 for administrative/clerical functions, which can be found in a legal department of a company normally, in German, French and English. These descriptions take into account the size of a company and the different structures of the legal services.
Our preliminary inquiries with some companies showed as result that there is a big interest to analyse the data under different aspects:
- A specific analysis of the current remuneration, distinguishing between base-salary and total compensation, i.e. including bonus-payments
- A specific analysis of the ratio of fixed and variable remuneration
- A specific analysis of the salaries to be paid to newly hired lawyers who joined the company in the years 2006 to 2008.
Under the condition that the number of participants is sufficient the results will be shown separately for the different business sectors in addition, in order to enable the participants to compare their salaries with the real competitors on the labor market.
The costs for the participating companies will be different according the number of different functions within the legal service, whereas the number of jobs per function has no impact. A company can have seven different legal functions at most; the number of clerical/administrative functions will not be taken into consideration to fix the price.

After having received your enrollment we will send to you by e-mail within 48 hours the excel-sheet to collect the data as well as the instruction how to use this sheet. This will enable you to collect and to transmit the data in an easy and fast way.
Data will be collected until May 30, 2008. The results will be at your disposal as from June 23, 2008.
You will get the invoice together with the files containing the results.
